Introduction

Although the OIE does not distinguish between stakeholders, interested and affected parties it is apparent that there are different categories of government departments, organisations, entities and persons that may be directly or indirectly affected with regard to this project.

It has thus been decided to use the following classification:

  • Stakeholders:

    • Those government departments, organisations, entities or persons specific to the conservation, agricultural and wildlife industries whom have a direct stake and interest in the project.

    • Stakeholders are automatically registered and included in the mailing list and will be notified on an ongoing basis and requested to supply their particular comments on each phase of the Risk Analysis.

  • Interested and Affected Parties:

    • Those government departments, organisations, entities or persons involved or having an indirect interest in the conservation, agricultural and wildlife industries whom may have an interest in the project.

    • Interested and Affected parties have to register their interest in the project by contacting Derbianus Game Breeders as provided for. An acknowledgement of registration will be despatched within a maximum of 5 days and such Departments, organisations, entities or persons will then be included in the mailing list and will be notified on an ongoing basis and invited to supply their particular comments on each phase of the Risk Analysis.
